Video Cards For 12in Mac Book Pro 2012
So recently I have been looking into gaming laptops as a way of me to be able to game on the go. I soon realised that to get a good lapop that can play the games I want I would have to spend quite a lot, so I dug out my mid 2012 macbook pro and was wondering if I could upgrade it to play games. I already know how to uprade the ram and I have already boocamped windows on to the device, but this leaves mw with only one problem, the graphics card. My question is: is it possible to put a phraphics card such as the gtx 980m or the gtx 970m in a macbook pro, and if so, how would I go about doing it.

You should be able to play to the game without any problem. I have a MacBook Pro (mid 2012) running OS 10.12.14 Sierra. My QuarkXPress 10 quits on opening. I'm a retired art director using Quark for hobby purposes (I put together illustrated letters for family and friends.).

Oct 1, 2010 So I have a macbook pro old model.Recent Problems:graphics card failedsystem crashed had to reinstall system crashed again and would be stuck on apple logo now after i reinstalled SL after the stuck on logo problem my mac was fine.3 weeks later which is now it started to lag,slow,unresponsive.So i tried repairing disk utility and FAILED then i tried reinstalling osx FAILEDthen i had to delete my whole harddrive:*( and reformated the harddrive.FAILED AGAIN.calling apple is a no because i already called alot before so now they want to charge.So did i reformat wrong? Now I'm sorry, but I have run High Detail on a freakin 4 year old dell with a 128mb internal gfx card and it hasn't lagged. Is there a way I can check which graphics card is being used? Is there a way I can force it to use the 9600M GT? How much is quickbooks for mac.
